A journey of growth
The greater portion of my design and advertising career has been dedicated to this industry giant. One could say I grew up with this brand, learning and advancing my career as FNB challenged the status quo of banking in South Africa.
From 2010, when I first started designing on the brand, I have been a part of the FNB journey of CI changes, awards and industry-firsts. While challenging at times, working on a financial services brand from such an early stage in my career helped me establish a keen eye for detail, how to find creativity within a disciplined CI, and tenacity in the face of difficult briefs
And so with gratitude in my heart, and a great deal of nostalgia, I break the unspoken ‘never-put-anything-old-in-your-portfolio’ rule to showcase the visual development of the brand as I have experienced it as a designer.
