NESTLÉ Content Café

The NCC is a specialised content creation and production model dedicated to NESTLÉ’s major coffee brands: NESCAFÉ, Starbucks and NDG. Prodigious pitched this model to the global NESTLÉ team in 2019 – this was the first content and production hub of its kind in the Publicis Groupe Africa.

I provided creative direction for the content creation aspect of the pitch, conceptualising artwork and overseeing its design and animation. We had limited content provided to use for repurposing, and had to find creative ways to integrate this with stock imagery and footage, as well as transcreate new content from the old.

And thus began the Content Café

We began producing recipe content for NESCAFÉ and Starbucks, starting with research and developing the shoot’s art direction through a series of pre-production rounds. We then produced the videos and stills, and followed through with the post production work, and subsequent digital deliverables for global markets.

As this was a new offering of our business, I was responsible for creating the systems and ways of working for the creative studio. I also oversaw all creative direction before the shoot, on set, and during post-production. This was my first real foray into production and a fantastic opportunity to learn and grow in this area.
